Dr. Jonathan Monroe

Dr. Monroe serves as Director of Training for Kotler Marketing Group and has conducted marketing training for companies both in the U.S. and abroad. He now lives and works in China, conducting seminars, company training, and consulting projects for leading Chinese enterprises such as TCL, Skyworth, Tsinghua University, and Ping An Insurance. Prior to moving to China he had developed training programs in the US (Michelin, International Paper), Europe (Scandinavian Airlines) and Latin America (Grupo Industrial Saltillo, Mavesa).
Dr. Monroe’s experience covers a broad range of industries such as airlines, consumer packaged foods, financial services, paper and forest products, automotive, pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, and tourism. His background as a consultant, researcher, and trainer in developing countries makes him uniquely qualified to apply principles of adult learning to the business training problems of companies serving the Chinese and similar markets. Dr. Monroe holds a BA from the University of Michigan and a PhD. in social sciences from Michigan State University.
